Peter Ullmann ... created "The Passionate Patent" after years of working in opera, engineering and intellectual property. His love of innovation, creation and yes, patenting led him to create this production for the fun of music and the story, but also to bring some levity to what may otherwise be considered the boring and confusing patent process. A graduate of UC Berkeley, he has been involved in theater and opera for over 15 years (including the Boston Opera and Opera San Jose). In addition he has been an engineering manager, product manager, Asia Business Manager, Patent Manager and IP manager. Peter has published internationally, chaired several non profits including the Software Patent Institute, the Software Patent Coalition, as well as various community organizations.

Vangie Long…..Promotions Coordinator joined “The Passionate Patent” in 2014. She brings in her finance background as well as over 10 years experience working with and for non profits in performing arts. As an avid advocate, Vangie has been involved from helping an organization attain its 501c3 status to chairing various fundraising events as well as worked as managing director in theater.
